What is Ping?

Ping! is London's Summer Table Tennis Project with over 100 tables popping up across London as part of the cultural olympiad. To put you in a spin various activities will be running on these tables from Smash the City, the new summer league for City companies, Masterclasses, where you can perfect your skills with an elite table tennis coach and youth sessions where displays and matches will be played by our future potential Olympic Contestants. All our events offers participants the chance to get involved in the cultural olympiad leading up to the 2012 Olympic Games.

 The Launch!

The Lord Mayor playing table tennis Wednesday 28 July saw the launch of the City of London tables at Paternoster Square. The Rt Hon Lord Mayor Alderman Nick Anstee launched the event, He said: "As a keen sports fan, I am passionate about increasing access to sporting activities across the Square Mile. These table tennis tables offer City workers another fantastic opportunity to compete, network and exercise". It was a fantastic event that proved to be very popular with over 150 people in the square by St Paul's Cathedral.
