City Signage Strategy

Way-finding in the City of LondonThis strategy sees the implementation of new pedestrian way-finding signage for the City. This includes a whole new system of signage, using on street maps, node points and finger posts. Installation is currently underway and is expected to be completed in summer 2006.

The strategy will also see the installation of twelve on-street electronic information signs. The signs will be flat screens that will be installed at the top of node point signs that have been especially adapted to incorporate them. The information on the screens will be created and inputted by officers in the Public Relations department and will include details on City events and travel information.
