Funding and support


Eligibility

You will be classified as an overseas/ international student if you have not been ordinarily resident in the UK, European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) for three years preceding the start of your course or if you have any restrictions on your stay. We do have to charge a higher overseas/ international fee if you do not meet these criteria. Please contact the Centre Administrator on 020 7608 2753 or 020 7332 3928 if you are not sure whether you are eligible for government funding.

Education trusts

The City of London has a number of education trusts that can financially support students to further extend their educational interests. Each have their own set of criteria and level of funding. They include:

  • Higher Educational Research & Special Expenses Fund
  • Archibald Dawnay Scholarships for Civil Engineers
  • Robert Blair Fellowship in Applied Science and Technology
