Safer City Partnership

The City of London continues to enjoy a low level of crime. This is due in large part to the partnership working which has taken  place in the City over many years. However, it is our intention that this remains the case, and that those crimes which do affect us are reduced. It is also our intention to provide the safe environment that our communities expect and deserve

In the City of London, the Safer City Partnership brings together a number of organisations for addressing community safety. The Partnership aims to reduce the level of crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse in the Square Mile.

The Safer City Partnership has set the following priorities for 2010 – 2013. In setting these priorities we have taken in to account partner and community priorities, our successes to date and the changing nature of the City. The significant changes being predicted increases in residents, workers and visitors.

Crime continues to remain low and the long term trend is that it will reduce further. Some crime types are on the increase and these are of concern to the partnership and the community.
