The City of London is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the status of the Square Mile as the world's leading international financial and business centre. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role.

The success of SMEs is important both to the City and the boroughs on the City fringe where the City of London is actively leading and assisting in various development initiatives.

The City of London assists SMEs through:

using its own procurement procedures to promote fairness of opportunity for SMEs to provide goods and services to the City of London
facilitating financial support
improving skills and employment opportunities in the labour market
helping you establish your business in the City
